Google updated website Page Ranks this past weekend. Below is a quote from Matt Cutts of Google
We’re always trying to improve our link analysis with algorithmic changes to reduce the weight of paid links that pass PageRank or to better discern what types of links add lots of value to users.
I’m glad that new PageRanks showed up this weekend as expected; after this toolbar update, I expect us to get back to the normal 3-4 month cycle. (Source)
Google last updated website’s PR in January 2008 and has not made any new updates since. There are many discussion going on, like here, or here, also here. As we all know PR doesn’t not mean what it did 4 years ago, but still allows us to judge the quality of website link.
