• It is absolutely essential that you have external links pointing to your blog in order to obtain high search engine ranks. There are many different ways to get high-quality links to your blog.
• Design your website so that the link to your blog appears on all of the pages of your site.
• Submit your blog to blog search engines and Internet directories.
• Use trackbacks.
• Post comments in response to posts on other blogs.

Once you have optimized the keywords and links on your blog, you should see increased search engine rankings. To continue to better your rankings, update your blog frequently. Search engines love to evaluate new content, so your rankings have a chance to improve each time there is new information on the site. But most importantly, do not change the domain of your blog.
